Great job Liz! These horses go 4-2-3-1 with cuts of 4-5-2. Type is most important in Arabs, so first ask yourself, Does this horse look like an Arabian? 4, the dark bay, goes easily on top b/c he has the most type, quality and is best balanced. 2, the bay, goes second as he lacks the quality in his head and neck and has a straighter shoulder. However, he's the obvious choice, over 3, the bay, as he is longer hipped and more level from croup to tail. He also carries more muscle throughout. 3 has a trimmer throatlatch but lacks the showring presence of the top pair. 3 over 2 on bottom. She has more dish to her face and is more level over her topline. 1, the chestnut, is plain-featured, runs down hill and is steep crooped.

I am a visitor to this site. fscchorsejudge, if we were to remove type from this class and judged it as simply halter, how would you place those?
Please briefly explain.
